TOOLS TO GET STARTED BULLET JOURNALING:

I wanted to share some of the best and most affordable tools available for bullet journalling.

  • This notebook which is almost identical to the cult favorite and has raving reviews for a fraction of the cost!
  • This pen that won’t bleed through the page and is great for inputting your dailies
  • This Pen for art work and faux calligraphy
  • These Markers for decorating and color coding your journal
  • Stencils for making layouts quicker, or if you’re not handy at drawing

Also not necessary but this MEGA pack of PRINTABLES is amazing!

Obviously the only things that you need to get started is a notebook and pen and you will use them the most. However, the markers are useful for colour coding your journal and the stencils will save you time in creating beautiful layouts!

April Bullet Journal Cover Page Ideas

Lets start off with some cover page inspiration. April for the northern hemisphere means spring and the southern is heading into the middle of Autumn. You also generally get Easter in April as well which can give some great ideas.

Here’s the best cover pages we’ve found for April.

Love this reminder that Spring blooms are starting to appear. Start off the warmer months with bright colours in April. This cover page will look great in your Bullet Planner!

When Easter falls in April you get to do cute themes like this! I love the colours in this one and it just feels bright and happy.

This floral theme is just gorgeous. One day I will have the patience to attempt something like this.

The shading in this cover almost makes it look 3D. The pops of color add such interest to the page.

This comic book theme leaps off the page. You don’t need colour to be striking.

Spring means flowers and flowers mean bees. If you want some more bee inspiration check out our honey bee theme ideas.

I love cherry blossoms and am such a fan of anyone who can do them well. This spread is so stunning.

This idea is so cool. A monopoly board. You could run this theme through the whole month. You could also choose a bunch of other boards games as well that would work as a theme.

This sums it all up, April you are wonderful. As bright and cheery as these beautiful buttercups. Use this cover page to add some brightness to your own Bullet Planner!

Bullet Journal Monthly Spread Ideas for April

Monthly spreads can be so important in your productivity journey. Here are some fantastic inspirations for April.

I like this style of calendar. It makes your eyes really look at the page and creates something out of the normal.

This design is simple in its calendar with watercolors adding the design elements.

You don’t need to be complicated to be pretty. Simple pops of color and a few doodles can work just as well.

Another spread without a complicated design. You could do this idea with anything in the ‘photograph’. You could even draw the outline of the polaroid and use an actual photo in the middle.

If you can’t draw, use stickers! They’re quick and easy and a great way to add some personality to a page.

I love, love, love the teal colour in this design. It just makes me happy.

Weekly Spread Ideas for April

Hello weekend! I like the layout here, nice and clear with floral tones. Easily adapted to what suits you.

Do you like looking at your week on a double page spread? This one is for you! I like the use of greyscale, allowing for the important points to pop once added.

Sometimes one of the most satisfying jobs is taking your pen, opening your Bullet Planner, looking at your ‘To-Do’ list and then ticking off what you have done. Enjoy your success with this spread!

The weekly log that matches a monthly spread shown earlier, the use of teal and yellow in this spread just makes me smile.

Boxes give such a clean page, while the inclusion of butterfly doodles adds color. By not giving a box outline to Sunday, its also creating symmetry on the page.

Other April Bullet Planner Inspo

This is a cute example of an ‘All in one day’ spread with a cute kitten theme. Make it your own with whatever is meaningful to you.

And then other times it is just the simple things we need to achieve in a day and that’s ok! Keeping it really simple here and I love it.

Here is something different! Music is such a powerful tool to help us remember good times. Having said that, we also forget songs that have an impact in the moment. Have you got a song on repeat right now? Why not put it in your Bullet Planner so that you can revisit later in the year!
