The Best Bullet Journal Spreads For College Students!
It is so helpful to see things laid out in calendar form. This is where students add holidays and important school dates. There isn’t enough room to add all of your tests, exams and assignments so use the future log for those things.
More space than the semester overview. Use this spread for everything else.
Pro tip: Use different colored markers to signify school from everything else so it’s super easy to tell from glance what is what. Check out my post on making a bullet journal key at the beginning of your journal!
On the left page, add your class schedule. This will make it super easy to flip back to and reference as you are working out your weekly bullet journal spreads.
On the right page, add all of the necessary course info. What room, teachers contact info and anything else that might be important to save yourself from looking it up constantly.
Since you will be referencing this page frequently (at least at first!) add a piece of washi tape on the side of page so it’s easy to find even when your book is closed.
Time Block Schedule Layout!
College students are notorious for trying to juggle too many things at once, if that describes you then time blocking will be your best friend.
Design your weekly spread with the times of each day and input everything that needs to get done each day. Color code everything so its easy to see what your day looks like at a glance.
Search up some resources on time blocking if you aren’t familiar but its super simple once you get the hang of it and will save your bacon.
Stop losing precious time each day and choose to be intentional instead!
College Bullet Journal Study Log
Some people might find this motivational, others might not and that’s OK. Leading up to a test, you might find it helpful to track how much time you spend studying. This spread is gorgeous and I want it anyways!

One Subject Deep Dive
Whatever the subject is, figure out what the most important habits you can add to your routine to really learn the subject. In this case, it is a new language, but this would work just as well for any subject. Some simple habit ideas that would work for most subjects include : reading and writing about it, watching documentaries or youtube videos about the subject, joining clubs to talk about it with others and so on.
Other Useful Things To Add:
- Page for your teachers emails and hours
- Exam Schedule
- “How to study” cheat sheet
- Packing list for those who are moving for school
- “Intention for this semester” page. Write down what you hope to achieve and what your standards will be for yourself.

Cute Notes For Better Grades Hack
You probably won’t want to keep your notes in your bullet journal but considering how important taking notes is, I felt is was worth talking about here.
Get Better Grades:
Take your scribbles during class and then each night, re-write the most important information. Doing this helps you cement new ideas into your mind while the lecture is still fresh. Cute notes are also easier to read when it comes time to study.
Helpful Spreads To Add To A College Student’s Bullet Journal:
It can be so tempting to skip sleep while in college which is why it is so important that you track it! Trust me, you will be happier and do better on tests if you are taking care of yourself.
Practicing gratitude will change your life. You will have more energy, deal with hard times quicker, be happier and the list goes on. Plus Oprah says you should do it so.

I wanted to share some of the best and most affordable tools available for bullet journalling.
