If bullet journals overwhelm you then these simple minimalist bullet journal weekly layout ideas are for you! No artistic ability required.

Your bullet journal is only valuable to you if you use it! It can be so overwhelming at first thinking of all the things that might want to track or the beautiful art work you want to add and it can paralyze you from actually using the tool. Bullet journals are a tool to increase productivity and well being which only happens if you USE it! That’s why I am a huge fan of minimalist weekly spreads. Let’s get rid of all the extras and just focus on USING the bullet journal.
Pro tip: Get into a habit of using your bullet journal daily. Even if it’s just once a day, make sure you open it up first thing in the morning or right before bed.

I wanted to share some of the best and most affordable tools available for bullet journalling.
- This notebook which is almost identical to the cult favorite and has raving reviews for a fraction of the cost!
- This pen that won’t bleed through the page and is great for inputting your dailies
- This Pen for art work and faux calligraphy
- These Markers for decorating and color coding your journal
- Stencils for making layouts quicker, or if you’re not handy at drawing
Also not necessary but this MEGA pack of PRINTABLES is amazing!
Obviously the only things that you need to get started is a notebook and pen and you will use them the most. However, the markers are useful for colour coding your journal and the stencils will save you time in creating beautiful layouts!

Minimalist Bullet Journal Weekly Spread Inspiration
Bullet journals don’t have to be complicated. These weekly spreads are simply about knowing what day is it and what you need to do.
Remember that a minimalist style doesn’t mean boring. Add a bit of flair with some fancy fonts, a pop of color or a simple doodle. And even if you don’t want to do any of that, sometimes straight lines can be very satisfying.
