June marks halfway through the year. Its a time for polar opposites – warmer weather and the start of summer, or snuggling in from the cold, depending on where you live. And here’s a fun fact – June always begins on a different day to every other month.
June is a great time to check in on your goals for the year to see if you are on track or need improvement. Before your head into you spreads for June, take a quick look back at your bullet journal this year and appreciate all you’ve done so far.

Sometimes you just need a pop of color. It can make a really striking effect on the page.
Water is a fantastic theme for June, especially if you are somewhere heading into warmer weather.
Flowers are a great theme at any time of year. Rose and Honeysuckle are the flowers for June, but you can go with any flowers you love.
Dreaming of somewhere tropical? Head for the cocktails of your summer holiday (or the one your dreaming of)
Fruit is a great way to add color and a bit of pop. Choose your favorites, or just go for something that gives you the colors you want.
I love the colours of these blue butterflies. If you can’t draw butterflies to the lever you’d like, use stickers.
The butterfly on the right is actually cut out on one side, creating a great effect.
And finally, using sunshine as a theme means you can’t be unhappy. Who doesn’t love a sunny day?
June Bullet Journal Monthly Spread Ideas
Fruit allows you to bring so many different colours into your bujo. It also has a very summery sort of feel (even if there is plenty of fruit around for other seasons too).
Summer is the perfect weather for camping! If you love the outdoors why not incorporate it into your bullet journal.
This spread actually uses washi tape and stickers in a lot of its design.
My monthly spread for June. It’s simple as I carried on the blue color theme from the cover page.
This design uses a dutch door on the right to create a space for upcoming events etc. It adds a real feature to the page.
This spread looks very clean. The pops of yellow so so nicely with the splashes of green.
One of the many things I love about bullet journals, is you can combine so many mediums. This one in particular has markers and washi tape, but you can also your stickers, stamps and other techniques to create something truly yours.
